December Boys
For many years, four teenage orphans at an Australian outback convent have watched their younger comrades find new parents, and realize that they may never be adopted. One summer, they find themselves competing for the attention of the same family.

Radcliffe is good at showing vulnerability but without the skills to give it gradation. The magic doesn't work for him this time.
